Telehealth Psychiatry & Med-Management at Zen Integrative Care on Long Island
Call (516) 246-9588
Zen Integrative Care provides telehealth psychiatric medication management for adults across New York State. Our telehealth program covers diagnostic evaluations, ongoing med-management, and follow-up visits with our double board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioners. It is designed for patients who need consistent, high-quality psychiatric care without the friction of weekly travel — whether you are in Nassau, Suffolk, or anywhere else in New York.
Important: We do not provide at-home ketamine, oral ketamine troches, or any take-home ketamine product. Ketamine and Spravato (esketamine) are administered only in our Long Island office under direct medical supervision. Telehealth at Zen Integrative Care is strictly for psychiatric evaluation and medication management — it is not a vehicle for at-home dissociative treatment.
We do not accept Medicaid or Medicaid managed-care plans. We accept most major commercial insurance plans for telehealth psychiatry. Please call our office to verify your specific plan.
What Telehealth With Us Looks Like
You meet with one of our psychiatric nurse practitioners over a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. The first visit is a comprehensive intake — medical history, prior treatments, current medications, symptom review, and goals. Follow-up visits are typically 30–45 minutes and (focus on symptom review, medication effectiveness, side effects, treatment adjustments when needed, brief psychotherapy and coordination with your therapist or other healthcare providers.
Telehealth is a good fit for ongoing antidepressant, anti-anxiety, mood-stabilizer, ADHD (where appropriate), and sleep-related medication management. Some controlled medications may require periodic in-person visits or additional monitoring in accordance with federal and New York State regulations. Ketamine-related care must be handled in person at our Long Island office.
When You Need to Come Into the Office
- Initial ketamine candidacy evaluation and all infusion sessions

Insurance & Cost
Telehealth psychiatry visits are billed the same way as in-office visits and are covered by most commercial insurance plans. Coverage depends on your individual insurance plan and eligibility. We do not accept Medicaid or Medicaid managed-care plans. For self-pay patients, we publish transparent pricing — please call the office for current rates.
